I’m Kristina and I am a recovering junk food-aholic.
Trying to live a life eating clean, but still eating foods that we love can be tough. I was on a mission to recreate our family’s favorite foods into healthy, delicious, guilt-free foods that adults and kids enjoy! We wanted our kids to enjoy the type of comfort foods that we grew up eating, but without the artificial and processed ingredients.
This mission turned into a passion which gave me the drive to continue my education in Public Health and Health Promotion. I am a Health Educator who does not believe in diets, rather on healthy lifestyles while still enjoying some of our childhood favorite foods (mine being a classic maple bar donut) in moderation. I hope that you will find some of your new favorites here!
The recipes you will find here will focus on real, whole foods, limited refined sugars, and are family friendly. Don’t see a guilt-free version of your favorite foods? Let me know! I’m always looking for new recipes to makeover!
